The Baak Reeny ESD safety shoe, from the Baak Sports light series, combines advanced protective features with high wearing comfort. This ESD-capable low shoe is made from abrasion-resistant microfiber with textile inserts in a mesh structure and offers full-surface cushioning through an EVA midsole. The nitrile outsole is sturdy and slip-resistant (SRC), while the composite toe cap and the metal-free, penetration-resistant midsole provide comprehensive protection. Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the colors black, green, and white, this shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC. Particularly noteworthy is the option for orthopedic insole provision according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. The Baak Softstep insole is replaceable, making the shoe additionally adaptable. Weighing 530 g in size 42 and featuring a lace-up closure, the Baak Reeny ESD safety shoe offers an optimal combination of safety and comfort for professional use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Go & Relax

It is based on three functional elements (asymmetrical toe cap, biomechanically optimized flex zone and biomechanical H-coupling element). In this way, it ensures healthy feet and relief for the entire musculoskeletal system.
