The safety shoe Rick2 ESD from BAAK combines the highest safety standards with modern design and comfort. This low-cut shoe from the Baak Sports light series is available in sizes 36 to 48 and presents itself in an attractive blue-yellow color scheme. Made from a combination of microfiber and textile, the shoe is metal-free and leather-free, making it exceptionally lightweight – the shoe weighs just 550 g at size 42. The toe cap made of composite material and the puncture-resistant, metal-free protection provide reliable safety according to the standards EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. For additional comfort, the full-length EVA midsole offers excellent cushioning properties. The nitrile outsole ensures slip resistance according to SRC standard. Orthopedic adjustments are possible thanks to the certification according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. The Baak Softstep insole is replaceable, which increases the hygiene and adaptability of the shoe. The lace-up closure allows for a personalized and secure fit.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Go & Relax
Baak® go&relax is an innovative system designed primarily for people who wear safety shoes for many hours a day. It is based on three functional elements (asymmetrical toe cap, biomechanically optimized flex zone and biomechanical H-coupling element). In this way, it ensures healthy feet and relief for the entire musculoskeletal system.
