Safety shoe Ron2 ESD
The BAAK Ron2 ESD safety shoe from the Baak Sports light series is characterized by its robust and functional design. This low shoe, available in sizes 36 to 48, is made of high-quality microfiber with textile inserts and offers an optimal combination of comfort and protection. The black-gray color scheme gives it an appealing look.
The composite toe cap and the metal-free penetration protection ensure maximum safety at the workplace, while the ESD capability (according to DIN EN 61340-5-1) makes the shoe ideal for areas where electrostatic discharge poses a risk. The nitrile outsole provides excellent slip resistance (SRC), and the full-surface cushioning by the EVA midsole guarantees long-lasting wearing comfort.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
