The Bata Marie ESD safety shoe combines advanced safety technologies with comfortable and durable construction. This women's low-cut shoe, available in sizes 34 to 42, is made from high-quality, wear-resistant textile and comes in an attractive shade of green. The aluminum toe cap and FlexGuard® plastic penetration protection provide optimal safety according to the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-4-3. The EVA midsole ensures excellent cushioning, while the mesh lining and lace-up closure enhance comfort and fit. The slip-resistant SRC rubber outsole ensures secure footing on various surfaces. Additionally, the shoe is antistatic and meets additional requirements P, A, E, HRO, making it especially suitable for work environments with electronic devices. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Odor Control / odor-inhibiting
Bata Industrials, together with scientists, has developed a completely eco-friendly solution for the elimination of odours: Odor Control. It is based on a completely natural plant extract. As a natural all-in-one solution, it reduces bacteria in the shoe by 99.9% and is even effective at temperatures of up to 240° C – for fresh feet all day long.
