Safety shoe SUMM TWO ESD
The SUMM TWO ESD safety shoe from Bata combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This ESD-capable low shoe is specially designed for use in electrostatically sensitive areas and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-4-3 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC.
The upper material made of durable nylon in black and blue as well as the aluminum toe cap provide optimal protection. The FlexGuard® plastic penetration protection and the slip-resistant PU/TPU sole ensure additional safety at the workplace. The mesh lining with Odor Control technology ensures breathability and odor control.
The Premium Fit insole is replaceable, which increases wearing comfort. Weighing 608 g in size 42 and with a standard width W, this unisex safety shoe offers a perfect balance between protection and comfort. Available in sizes 38 to 48, the SUMM TWO ESD is equipped with a practical lace-up closure that allows for an individual fit.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
Odor Control / odor-inhibiting
Bata Industrials, together with scientists, has developed a completely eco-friendly solution for the elimination of odours: Odor Control. It is based on a completely natural plant extract. As a natural all-in-one solution, it reduces bacteria in the shoe by 99.9% and is even effective at temperatures of up to 240° C – for fresh feet all day long.
