The Steitz Secura VD Pro 1000 ESD safety sandal combines high safety standards with comfort and design. This unisex sandal is available in sizes 36 to 47 and comes in an attractive black-blue. The use of ultra-light microfiber and a large ventilation structure ensures optimal air circulation and wearing comfort. The sandal features an aluminum toe cap and meets the EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 SRC standard, making it particularly suitable for work environments with a slip hazard. The Velcro closure allows for quick putting on and taking off, while the breathable functional lining and genuine leather insole effectively absorb moisture. The TPU Athletic ESD outsole not only offers excellent cushioning properties but also protection against electrostatic discharge. Furthermore, orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 are possible, and the standard width NB can be adjusted to special widths. Weighing just 518 g in size 42, this safety sandal is one of the lightest on the market.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
SECURA VARIOĀ® System
The SECURA VARIOĀ® system consists of five interchangeable damping modules ā can be used in the heel area depending on body weight (from 57 kg to over 105 kg). As an essential component of a cushioning concept that noticeably relieves and protects the joints and the musculoskeletal system, it contributes to the work-life balance, especially during long working days in shoes.
VARIO MULTIFLEXĀ®
A perfect extension of Steitz Secura's exclusive back vitality system for certain shoe configurations is the VARIO MULTIFLEXĀ® technology. A continuously foamed midsole with a special soft bedding provides further effective cushioning properties in the forefoot area. Muscle tension is optimally reduced, load peaks are avoided with every step and forefoot problems are prevented from the outset.
