The safety shoe Salix ESD by Steitz Secura combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This unisex shoe features a metal-free ECO CAP toe cap and a slip-resistant TPU Competition ESD outsole that meets EN ISO 20345:2011 SRC S1 standards. The breathable mesh upper and the polyamide functional lining ensure a comfortable foot climate. The ergonomic ERGO-SOFT ESD insole is replaceable and enhances comfort with its cushioning effect. Additionally, orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 are possible. Available in sizes 36 to 47 and in the color Black/Grey.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Seamless
The seamless finish ensures greater durability. Shoes without seams are less susceptible to damage and also offer less opportunity for moisture and dirt to penetrate.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
