The Salix ESD safety shoe from Steitz Secura combines functionality and comfort for demanding work environments. This low-cut shoe is equipped with a metal-free ECO CAP toe cap that meets EN ISO 20345:2011 SRC S1 standards, thus providing optimal protection. The upper is made of breathable mesh fabric, available in black and grey, and offers a size range from 36 to 47. The TPU Competition ESD outsole guarantees excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is specifically designed for electrostatic discharge. The ergonomic ERGO-SOFT ESD insole is replaceable and, along with the polyamide functional lining, ensures maximum wearing comfort. The shoe weight is only 493 g for size 42, making it exceptionally lightweight. Furthermore, the shoes are suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191, making them an ideal choice for professional use. The lace-up closure completes the design functionally and supports an individual fit.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Seamless
The seamless finish ensures greater durability. Shoes without seams are less susceptible to damage and also offer less opportunity for moisture and dirt to penetrate.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
SECURA VARIO® System
The SECURA VARIO® system consists of five interchangeable damping modules – can be used in the heel area depending on body weight (from 57 kg to over 105 kg). As an essential component of a cushioning concept that noticeably relieves and protects the joints and the musculoskeletal system, it contributes to the work-life balance, especially during long working days in shoes.
