The ESD safety shoe Space Blue by Lemaitre combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. This unisex half-shoe in black/blue is available in sizes 38 to 48 and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 (S3, SRC), making it an excellent choice for various work environments.
The upper material is made of a robust textile and suede leather mix, which, along with the aluminum toe cap and metal-free penetration protection, ensures comprehensive safety. The PU outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant as well as slip-resistant and antistatic, making the shoe particularly suitable for industrial environments. Additionally, the shoe features an orthopedic insole according to DGUV 112-191, which is replaceable and thus allows for individual adjustments.
With a weight of approximately 545 g at size 42 and a standard width L, this shoe offers an optimal balance between protection and wearing comfort. The lace-up closure ensures a personalized fit, while the abrasion-resistant textile lining ensures durability. Ideal for technical professions where safety and comfort are paramount.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
