The ESD safety sandal Jake by Lupos combines high safety standards with wearing comfort for professional use. Made from soft pull-up leather and equipped with a thin, perforated aluminum toe cap, this model offers effective protection while still being lightweight. The sandal features an integrated conductive band and a metal-free penetration protection made from composite material, further enhancing safety. The InfinergyĀ® midsole provides excellent cushioning and the PU outsole offers a light heel as well as excellent slip resistance (SRC), oil, acid, and gasoline resistance. The super breathable and absorbent lining ensures a comfortable foot climate. The sandal is available in black, in sizes 38-48 and complies with the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. It accommodates orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ĆNORM Z 1259. The Velcro closure and the replaceable insole with Memory Gel ESD make customization easy and individual. Ideal for use in environments where electrostatic discharge poses a risk.
InfinergyĀ® developped by BASF is the first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane. ItĀ returns you positive energy. A concentration of technology that turns the traditional cushioning into a dynamic cushioning. The resulting energyĀ when the footĀ hits the groundĀ is stored and is directly returned during the walking process, thus supporting you when walking. Even when exposed to permanent stress it provides excellent long-term strength. In contrast to other conventional foams, InfinergyĀ® remains highly elastic, even at temperature ranges from +40Ā°C to -20Ā°C.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF InfinergyĀ®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. InfinergyĀ® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. InfinergyĀ® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40Ā°C).
