The Lupos safety boot, model UP55 in black, is specifically designed for use in environments with electrostatic discharges and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345, S3, SRC. This unisex boot in black is available in sizes 35 to 48 and is distinguished by its high functionality and safety features. The upper material is made of durable PutekĀ® PLUS, known for its longevity. For optimal protection, it features an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard. The InfinergyĀ® midsole provides excellent cushioning, while the PU outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant, as well as slip-resistant (SRC). Additionally, the boot is equipped with a highly breathable, absorbent lining and an integrated conductive strip that enhances safety. The orthopedic insoles comply with the standards DGUV 112-191 and ĆNORM Z 1259, and the Memory Gel ESD insole can be replaced if necessary. The shoe features a practical lace-up closure and also meets the additional CI requirements for insulation against cold.
InfinergyĀ® developped by BASF is the first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane. ItĀ returns you positive energy. A concentration of technology that turns the traditional cushioning into a dynamic cushioning. The resulting energyĀ when the footĀ hits the groundĀ is stored and is directly returned during the walking process, thus supporting you when walking. Even when exposed to permanent stress it provides excellent long-term strength. In contrast to other conventional foams, InfinergyĀ® remains highly elastic, even at temperature ranges from +40Ā°C to -20Ā°C.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF InfinergyĀ®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. InfinergyĀ® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. InfinergyĀ® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40Ā°C).
