The Lupos Emis ESD safety shoe, in white and gray, combines the highest safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. Equipped with a thin, perforated aluminum toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer, this shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345, class S1P SRC, and offers optimal protection in hazardous work environments. The upper material is made of high-quality microfiber and suede, which, together with the super breathable, absorbent lining, ensures excellent air circulation and moisture management. The Infinergy® midsole from BASF enhances energy recovery, while the PU outsole is not only resistant to oil, acid, and gasoline but also has excellent slip-resistant properties. In addition, the shoe features a replaceable Memory ESD insole that allows for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. The lace-up closure ensures a secure and personalized fit. Available in sizes from 35 to 47, this 100% vegan low-cut shoe is ideal for men and women in the technical field who value safety and comfort.
Infinergy® developped by BASF is the first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane. It returns you positive energy. A concentration of technology that turns the traditional cushioning into a dynamic cushioning. The resulting energy when the foot hits the ground is stored and is directly returned during the walking process, thus supporting you when walking. Even when exposed to permanent stress it provides excellent long-term strength. In contrast to other conventional foams, Infinergy® remains highly elastic, even at temperature ranges from +40°C to -20°C.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
