The ESD safety shoe Ducati Mugello by FTG combines high safety standards with modern design. This low shoe in black and gray is made from high-quality microfiber and textile, making it particularly durable. The composite toe cap and metal-free puncture protection ensure optimal safety, while the antistatic PU/PU outsole is additionally oil-, acid-, and petrol-resistant and has excellent slip-resistant properties (SRC). The anatomical, antibacterial insole is replaceable and conforms to the SPORT-LITE typology, which is also suitable for orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. The shoe is available in sizes 38 to 47 and weighs only 470 grams at size 42. The lace-up closure completes the functional design and offers individual comfort. Certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P and DIN EN 61340-5-1, this safety shoe meets the highest requirements for safety and comfort for professional use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
ThinCap
Developed through FTG's research, the toe cap is made of an innovative and high-quality composite material. It is anti-magnetic, metal-free, athermal, spacious and resistant to a pressure/impact effect of 200 joules. It is also much lower, narrower, aesthetically invisible, but still very comfortable, and complies with the EN ISO 20345 standard.
