The ESD safety shoe Squash gray from the Sport Line by FTG combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. This low shoe offers reliable safety at the workplace thanks to its particularly thin plastic toe cap and metal-free penetration protection. The upper material is made of textile and is equipped with padding around the collar, which increases wearing comfort. The antibacterial, anatomical insole is replaceable and complies with DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic inserts. The PU/PU outsole is oil, acid, and gasoline resistant as well as slip-resistant (SRC) and antistatic, making the shoe ideal for various work environments. The shoe is available in gray and in sizes 35 to 48, washable at 30 °C, and equipped with a lace-up closure. The ESD safety shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 (S1P, SRC) and is particularly attractive as a discontinued model for technical buyers who value quality and safety.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Do not tumble dry
ThinCap
Developed through FTG's research, the toe cap is made of an innovative and high-quality composite material. It is anti-magnetic, metal-free, athermal, spacious and resistant to a pressure/impact effect of 200 joules. It is also much lower, narrower, aesthetically invisible, but still very comfortable, and complies with the EN ISO 20345 standard.
