The ESD safety shoe Surf black from the Sport Line series by FTG combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. The upper material is made of breathable mesh, complemented by padding around the collar for additional wearing comfort. The especially thin plastic toe cap and the metal-free penetration protection offer optimal protection, while the anatomically shaped, antibacterial insole and the replaceable SPORT-LITE insole support foot health. The PU outsole is oil-, acid- and gasoline-resistant as well as slip-resistant and antistatic, making the shoe ideal for work environments that have the highest safety requirements (EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1). Available in sizes 35 to 47 and suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191, this low shoe with Velcro fastening and a weight of only 470 g in size 42 is an excellent choice for men and women in safety areas.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
ThinCap
Developed through FTG's research, the toe cap is made of an innovative and high-quality composite material. It is anti-magnetic, metal-free, athermal, spacious and resistant to a pressure/impact effect of 200 joules. It is also much lower, narrower, aesthetically invisible, but still very comfortable, and complies with the EN ISO 20345 standard.
