The ESD Airtwist Black Low from PUMA SAFETY is a highly functional safety shoe, specifically developed for men. This model combines robust, hydrophobic suede in the upper with an impact-resistant fiberglass toe cap and a TPU heel protector to ensure optimal protection in hazardous work environments. The breathable BreathActive functional lining and the EVA midsole provide high wearing comfort, while the innovative EFFECT.FOAM technology offers excellent cushioning. The Evercushion® CUSTOM FIT MID footbed supports ergonomic foot posture, and the rubber outsole, with its SRC certification, provides excellent slip resistance on various surfaces. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).

This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Triple Density
