The PUMA SAFETY ESD Frontside Black/Blue Low safety shoe combines advanced technology and comfort for professional use. This men's low-cut shoe is available in sizes 39 to 47 and features a black mesh and microfiber upper that provides optimal ventilation. The sturdy fiberglass toe cap and TPU heel protection offer excellent protection, while the EVA midsole and the Evercushion® CUSTOM FIT MID footbed ensure outstanding cushioning through EFFECT.FOAM. The rubber outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant and provides high slip resistance thanks to SRC certification. Additionally, the shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC and is antistatic. This makes it ideal for environments where electrostatic discharge may pose a risk. The shoe weighs 536 grams in size 42, making it a lightweight companion in everyday work life. The lace-up closure also allows for individual adjustment for optimal support and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Triple Density
The 3D Triple Density System consists of three different layers, each of which fulfills a specific function. The first layer is designed to ensure stability. The second layer is specifically designed for cushioning. It absorbs shock and reduces stress on joints and muscles. The third layer provides excellent slip resistance as well as resistance to heat and oil.
