Safety Shoe Kate ESD Gray/Pink Red 360 The Kate ESD gray/pink Red 360 safety shoe from U-POWER combines functionality with modern design for technical use. This ESD safety shoe is equipped with a perforated aluminum toe cap and offers metal-free penetration protection. The surface made of soft suede leather and breathable nylon inserts ensures high wearing comfort and optimal ventilation. The breathable lining and the replaceable footbed with Infinergy® core from BASF maximize energy while walking. The PU/PU outsole is oil-resistant, slip-resistant, and antistatic. Available in sizes 35 to 42 and in the color combination gray/pink, this shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 (S1P, SRC). Additional features include orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, as well as a lace-up closure for secure fit.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
Save and Flex plus
The exclusive puncture-resistant "no metal" insole is lighter than traditional steel, more flexible and safer. It is connected directly to the shaft and guarantees 100% penetration resistance.
U-POWER uses only the high-quality, puncture-resistant "Save & Flex" PLUS insole for all of its own products, the pressure load of which is far higher than required by the current standard.
Insole WOW
The WOW insole with an anatomical structure is made of a soft, dynamic material compound from BASF with an excellent self-sculpting property that evenly distributes body weight over the entire sole of the foot. This means more comfort and a long-lasting sense of well-being.
