The light blue ESD grounding cable, measuring 2.4 meters in length, is specifically designed for the safe handling of electronic components and assemblies. It meets the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, which prescribes permanent grounding of personnel. Equipped with a highly elastic spiral cable, which connects to the grounding point via a snap button (DK) with a 10 mm diameter and a 4 mm banana plug (BA), as well as a crocodile clip, this product ensures effective protection against electrostatic discharges (ESD).
The wristband, which is directly connected to the spiral cable, should always be worn tightly on the wrist with direct skin contact to ensure optimal function. The safety resistors of 1 MOhm each at the cable's connection sides provide additional safety and are suitable for workplaces with a nominal voltage of up to 250 VAC.
