The PC-120 ESD polycarbonate sheets measuring 2000x1200x2 mm offer a permanent electrostatic dissipative surface coating that complies with DIN EN 61340-5-1 standards. With a surface resistance of 10^5 to 10^8 Ohm, they enable reliable dissipation of electrostatic charges without causing sudden discharges or sparking. These characteristics make the sheets ideal for use in electronics manufacturing, for covering displays, and for use in low-dust or clean rooms.
The sheets are also thermoformable and mechanically workable, making them particularly suitable for transparent protective devices, thanks to their high impact resistance. They are suitable for a variety of applications, including protective devices, machine covers, conveyor belt covers, enclosures, fixture and testing equipment construction, and for transparent shelves.
The physical, optical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties of these polycarbonate sheets meet high industrial standards. They have a density of 1.2 g/cm3, a water absorption of 0.15%, and meet the B1 fire class according to DIN 4102. The dielectric strength is 35 kV/mm and they have a tensile strength of 60 MPa. The sheets are delivered in packaging units (VPE) of 9 pieces, with each sheet covering an area of 2.4 m². Note that additional packaging costs apply when purchasing incomplete VPEs.
