The PC-120 ESD polycarbonate sheets measuring 2000x1200x8 mm are characterized by their electrostatic dissipative surface coating, which complies with the standards of DIN EN 61340-5-1. This coating allows for reliable dissipation of electrostatic charges, prevents sudden discharges and spark formation, and reduces dust deposits and contamination. These properties make the sheets ideal for use in ESD protection zones and cleanrooms.Additionally, the sheets are thermoformable and mechanically workable, making them ideal for use in transparent protective devices, where their high impact resistance is particularly advantageous. The sheets have a density of 1.2 g/cm3, a water absorption of 0.15%, and meet the fire class B1 according to DIN 4102. Their optical and electrical properties include a refractive index of 1.585 and a surface resistance of 105 - 108 Ohm. Mechanically, they offer a tensile strength of 60 MPa and an impact strength with no breakage. Thermally, they withstand temperatures of up to 135 °C and have a Vicat softening temperature of 148 °C.
The sheets are delivered in packaging units (VPE) of 2 pieces, with each sheet covering an area of 2.4 m². Additional packaging costs apply for orders below the VPE.
