The ESD utility cart with dimensions of 605 x 405 mm, manufactured by Fetra, is excellently suited for use in ESD-sensitive areas of the electronics industry. This model is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability, which meets the standards of DIN EN 61340-5-1, and offers an optimal solution for transport, material handling, and order picking tasks.
The construction is made of steel tubing and profile steel, electrostatically dischargeable powder-coated in slate grey (RAL 7015), which ensures high load capacity and durability. The shelves are made from a conductive wood-based material according to DIN 68765, surrounded by a 7 mm high edge. The cart is equipped with four swivel TPE-ESD casters that run on precision groove ball bearings, and two of them are equipped with a lock that securely locks the rotation and swivel movement in accordance with EN 1757-3.
The dimensions of the cart are 455 mm in width and 1178 mm in height. The surface resistance is between 10^5 and 10^7 Ω, confirming the high conductivity. The TPE tires are specifically designed for ESD applications and help to reduce the effort required while ensuring a quiet operation. Optionally, the innovative TOTALSTOP braking system from Fetra is available, which provides additional safety by effectively blocking the swivel movement of the steering rollers.
