The offered PE foam is a high-quality, electrostatically conductive material characterized by its closed-cell, cross-linked structure. The surface is corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant, ensuring a long lifespan. This foam in black meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and offers a typical surface resistance of 10^5 to 10^7 Ω. One side of the material features a skin providing a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm, while the side without skin exhibits a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm.
The thickness of the foam is 6 mm, and it is cut to customer-specific dimensions with a dimensional tolerance of +/- 1%. The material polyethylene has a density of 46 kg/cm³ and can be used in environments up to 90 °C. This foam is ideal for applications such as insert foam, interleaves, or partition walls for containers, as well as workstation pads. Production-related over- or under-deliveries are possible, highlighting flexibility in production and delivery.
