The PE foam offered here with a thickness of 10 mm is specifically designed for technical applications where electrostatic discharge capability is required. This closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam is corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for use as plug-in foam, interlayers, or web walls for containers, as well as workplace mats. The foam meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and offers a typical surface resistance of 10^5 to 10^7 Ohm.
The dimensional tolerance of the cuts is +/- 1%, allowing for precise use in various application areas. The material density is 46 kg/cm³, and the foam can be used in temperatures up to 90 °C. The color of the material is black, which provides visual clarity in various application areas. This PE foam is a reliable choice for applications that require both durability and ESD protection.
