This electrostatically conductive black PE foam measures 340x255x6 mm and is specifically designed for use in KLT containers sized 400x300 mm. The material is made of cross-linked, closed-cell polyethylene with a density of 46 kg/cm³, making it corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant. The foam can be used versatilely as plug-in foam, interlayers, or partition walls for containers, as well as a workstation mat, meeting the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The conductivity of the material is ensured by a typical surface resistance of 10^5 to 10^7 Ω, with the skin side having a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm and the non-skin side a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm. This ensures reliable performance in environments that require ESD protection. The foam can be used at a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
