This electrostatically conductive material made of polyethylene is ideal for applications where precise compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 is critical. With a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C, the foam is characterized by its robustness and durability. The surface of the foam offers a typical resistance of 10^5 to 10^7 Ohm, with the skin side having a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm and the non-skin side from 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm. The black color and the closed-cell, corrosion-free, and abrasion-resistant structure make it an excellent choice for applications such as plug-in foam, interlayers, and partition walls for containers, as well as workplace mats. This versatile and technically superior foam reliably meets the requirements of technical purchasers in various industrial applications.
