PE foam, dissipative 553x353x3 mm
The PE foam with dimensions of 553x353x3 mm is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability and is available in black. This polyethylene product is cross-linked, closed-cell, and offers corrosion resistance as well as abrasion resistance. It is excellent as an insert foam, interlayer, or web wall for containers, as well as a work surface pad. Compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 ensures safety in sensitive electronic work environments.
The material density is 46 kg/cm³, and the material can be used up to a maximum temperature of 90 °C. The surface resistance varies depending on the side of the foam: the skin side has a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm, while the non-skin side shows a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm. These properties make the PE foam an optimal choice for technical applications that require reliable conductivity and robust material properties.
