SCC 1500 static shielding bag 152 x 305 mm
The 3M-SCS Type 1500 "metal-out" shielding bags, measuring 152 x 305 mm, are a high-quality solution for protecting sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). These bags feature a multi-layer structure that includes an abrasion-resistant coating, aluminum vapor deposition, and intermediate and inner layers of conductive polyester or polyethylene.
The surface resistances of these layers range between 10^10 and 10^11 Ohms, allowing for efficient control of charge dissipation without spontaneous discharges. The electrostatic shielding is less than 10 nJ, ensuring the safety of sensitive assemblies with batteries and accumulators.
The bags are certified according to standards MIL-PRF-81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686, and EOS/ESD. They are also lead-free and offer high shielding against field induction as well as minimal triboelectric charging. With a packaging unit of 100 pieces, these recyclable and sealable bags are ideal for technical applications where reliability and environmental protection are paramount.
