SCC 1500 static shielding bag "metal-out" 305 x 406 mm
The 3M-SCS Type 1500 "metal-out" shielding bags, measuring 305 x 406 mm, are highly functional, multi-layer packaging solutions specifically designed to protect sensitive electronic components. These bags are made from metallized, transparent material that includes an abrasion-resistant coating, aluminum vapor deposition, and layers of conductive polyester and polyethylene. This structure ensures effective electrostatic shielding under 10nJ and allows for controlled dissipation of existing charges without spontaneous discharges.
The surface resistances of the outer and inner layers range between 10^10 and 10^11 Ohms, meeting the standards of MIL-PRF-81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686, and EOS/ESD. These recyclable and sealable bags are printed with the ESD warning symbol, type designation, a recycling symbol, and a LOT number. They not only offer high protection against field induction and minimize triboelectric charging but are also ideal for assemblies with batteries and accumulators. The packaging unit includes 100 pieces, facilitating efficient storage and handling.
