TORX Screwdriver VDE TX 15 SlimFix Manual screwing can put a strain on wrists and muscles over time. The specially ergonomically designed SoftFinish® screwdriver provides relief by ensuring optimal transmission of hand power. The various handle sizes are always adapted to the screwing case. With the long, slender handle sizes, small screws can be inserted safely and quickly. For driving in large screws, there are large-volume handle sizes that can apply higher torque. The roll-off protection and the screw symbol printed on the handle end ensure efficient work. In the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specially developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade to allow up to 33% slimmer blades. This makes it possible to easily reach deep-set screws and spring elements. The insulated screwdrivers are tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working in areas with live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
SoftFinish® electric
Wiha VDE screwdrivers are marked with the GS symbol for tested safety. They provide safety for work under voltage up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. To ensure this, each driver in the SoftFinish® electric series is individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 V according to EN/IEC 60900:2004. The ergonomic handle geometry with the skin-friendly soft zone offers maximum comfort, even for exceptionally high torques.

Torx
The Torx head is a screw head shape characterized by a star-shaped, six-pointed profile. This shape is specially designed to provide excellent power transmission and minimize tool slippage (cam-out). Torx screws are operated with a Torx screwdriver or Torx bit.
