ESD torque handle TV1

The ESD torque handle TV1 from Wiha is specifically designed for precise assembly work on electronic components. This tool complies with the international standard IEC 61340-5-1 and offers reliable protection against electrostatic discharges through its dissipative tool handle with a surface resistance of 10⁶ - 10⁹ ohms. The handle allows controlled screw tightening, which can be flexibly adjusted between 0.1 and 0.6 Nm using an integrated numerical scale and an included adjustment tool.
The screwdriver offers a release accuracy of ± 6% according to DIN EN ISO 6789 and is equipped with a bit holder for 1/4" bits and is compatible with Wiha Torque 4 mm exchange blades (series 2859). All components are securely stored in a robust box, making the tool ideal for mobile use. The handle itself has a length and diameter of 127 mm each, with a total weight of 141 g.
The torque setter and the universal bit holder are included in the delivery, however, bit holders and bits are not included. This tool system not only protects sensitive electronic components but also increases efficiency and reduces costs by avoiding material damage and rework.

Wiha TorqueVario®-S ESD torque handle

When working on electronic components, there is a risk of destroying them. With the TorqueVario®-S ESD torque screwdriver, this problem is a thing of the past. The ESD torque screwdriver is manufactured in accordance with the international standard IEC 61340-5-1 and therefore guarantees maximum protection for electronic components. The dissipative tool handle has a surface resistance of 10⁶ - 10⁹ ohms and dissipates electrostatic energy safely and in a controlled manner. The torque screwdriver also enables controlled screw tightening. The torque range can be variably set using the integrated numerical scale and the enclosed setting tool, thus covering a wide range of applications. A clearly audible and perceptible signal when the torque is released ensures process reliability and protects against material damage and reworking. With a triggering accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789. The set includes a bit holder for holding 1/4” bits. The ESD torque screwdriver is also compatible with the Wiha Torque 4 mm interchangeable blades (series 2859). All tools in the set are stored safely and neatly in a robust and clearly arranged box.
