The hexagonal interchangeable slimBit 2831 VDE 6.0 by Wiha is specifically designed for use in electrical applications and thanks to the innovative slimTECHNOLOGY, it allows reaching deep-set screws without compromising safety. The blade is equipped with protective insulation that enables up to 33% slimmer blades, thereby easing access to hard-to-reach screws and spring components.
This tool is tested according to the IEC 60900 standard and is suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. The hexagonal slimBit VDE blade has a length of 75 mm, a shaft diameter, and a tip width of 6.0 mm each and is designed for a maximum torque of 5.5 Nm. Weighing only 12 g, it is lightweight and easy to handle. The interchangeable blade is exclusively compatible with the slimVario® bit holder and the slimTorque VDE bit holder, allowing flexible and space-saving use within the Wiha interchangeable bit system.
Each tool is individually tested at 10,000 V AC, thus providing full protection when working with electrical components.
