The Charged Plate Monitor CPM 374 with measurement head MK11 is a high-precision instrument for measuring electrostatic voltage potentials and discharge times, based on the field mill induction principle. With an input impedance of 10^15Ω and an integrated high-voltage unit that is high-resistance isolated and touch-proof, this device offers reliable performance according to the standards EN 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S.3.1.
The compact design and battery operation allow for mobile use, while the mains connection also allows for stationary operation. The CPM 374 is operated via two buttons, supported by a menu-driven interface displayed on a two-line, alphanumeric LCD display measuring 100mm x 24mm. The measurement data, including positive and negative discharge times as well as offset voltage, are stored in the internal, non-volatile EEPROM memory and can be read via an RS 232 interface.
The device measures 152 x 152 x 152 mm, weighs approximately 1.5 kg, and operates at a temperature range of 0 - 40 °C and a humidity range of 10 - 60%. The internal battery pack (7.2V / 1300mAh) is continuously monitored and can be externally powered with a 12V DC / 750mA power supply.
Included in the delivery are a plug-in power supply, a grounding cable, a conductive carrying case, software, as well as a factory calibration certificate and an operating manual in German and English.
