The calibration unit for two-point electrode model 844 is specifically designed for surface resistance measurements on small packaging such as SMD blister tapes, conveyor belts, and thermoformed trays. This unit can be connected to a megohmmeter and allows measurements in recesses, with the spring-loaded electrode pins ensuring even pressure. The measuring head with BNC connector is interchangeable and supported by conductive contact rubber for reliable operation.
Additionally, the device from the Mini-Probe Set model 840 serves to verify the two-point electrode and checks three resistance values: 0 Ohm, 100 kOhm, and 1 GOhm. The unit can conveniently be stored in the carrying case of the Mini-Probe Set.
The calibration unit has a width of 100 mm, a height of 20 mm, and a length of 70 mm. Made of plastic, a calibration interval of 3 years or according to the testing equipment list is recommended to ensure consistent accuracy and reliability.
