The Ground Master® grounding monitor from SCS is an essential device for ensuring constant and correct grounding in sensitive electronic environments. This device is specifically designed to monitor the grounding of up to 8 devices permanently, with the possibility to expand to 16 devices by coupling two monitors. The monitoring includes the impedance of the grounding line as well as the EMI voltage to detect hazardous voltages early.
The visual display via LEDs and acoustic signals provide information on the status of each grounding connection, while individual fuses protect each connection from miswiring. In addition, the Ground Master® offers an interface for Facility Monitoring Systems and, in the RT version, additional relay and logic outputs for shutting down faulty devices.
Technically, the device supports a voltage of 100 - 240 V and features an Ethernet connection option as well as a 24V input terminal. With its compact dimensions of 140 mm width, 30 mm height, and 90 mm length, and a weight of only 0.18 kg, the monitor is also suitable for mobile use. The recommended calibration interval is 12 months.
Included in the delivery are four replacement fuses, grounding hardware, a universal power supply, and an operating manual. The Ground Master® is ANSI/ESDA S.20.20 compliant and ideal for a variety of applications where ESD and EMI are relevant.
