CPM 374 / Charged Plate Monitor

The Charged Plate Monitor CPM 374 measures the electrostatic voltage potential via an integrated plate electrode. The device uses a timer function to determine the discharge time between two defined voltage values. It combines a high-voltage unit with an electric field meter based on the field-mill-influence principle, which enables particularly precise measurements of voltage potentials and discharge times thanks to its extremely high input impedance of 10¹⁵ Ω - ideal for testing air ionization systems.

The CPM 374 meets the requirements of the EN 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S.3.1 standards, is touch-proof thanks to its high-impedance isolation and is therefore ideally suited for industrial use. Thanks to its compact design and battery operation, the device is suitable for both mobile and stationary use via a mains connection.

It is operated intuitively via two buttons and a menu-driven system. A two-line LCD display clearly shows all relevant measurement parameters. The measured discharge times (positive and negative) and the offset voltage are stored in the internal, non-volatile EEPROM and can be read out later via the RS232 interface.

The CPM 374 is available as a standard version without a measuring head or as a version including a high-voltage measuring head.
