The ESD horizontal toggle clamp type 6830, size 3, is specifically designed for use in ESD protection zones to meet the strict requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1. This model is characterized by its electrostatically dissipative components, including a protective cap and a handle, which ensure safety in handling electrostatically sensitive components.
The clamp features an open holding arm and a horizontal base, allowing for flexible application. The surfaces are galvanized and passivated to resist corrosion, while the rivets made of stainless steel in case-hardened bearing bushes ensure durability. The bearing points are carefully greased.
An ergonomic, oil-resistant handle with a large hand rest and soft component offers additional comfort and control. A safety device for the M8 x 45 pressure screw at the end of the clamping arm prevents it from falling out during use. The holding force of the clamp is between 1.8 and 2.5 kN, with a weight of 320 g, making it a robust yet handy option.
