PCB separator MAESTRO 4S / 450 for aluminum PCBs
The MAESTRO 4S / 450 depanelizer from CAB is specifically designed for stress-free separation of pre-scored aluminum circuit boards. This device is characterized by its ability to efficiently process circuit boards up to a thickness of 3.2 mm and a separation length of 450 mm. The sensitive components near the score line remain undamaged due to the optimized separation process, which reduces the blade distance programmably between 0.6 mm and 0.05 mm.The separation speed can be switched between 300 and 500 mm/s, with the device using both a rotary blade on the assembly side and a linear blade on the solder side. The depanelizer is equipped with a motor drive and supports up to nine storable programs that can be set via a control panel. With a component height of up to 34 mm on both the assembly and solder sides and a maximum remaining thickness of 1.2 mm, the device offers great flexibility in processing various types of circuit boards.
In addition to the depanelizer, the package includes a power cable, a foot switch, an Allen wrench, a support table including a mounting kit, a measuring device, and an operating manual in both German and English. With dimensions of 702 mm in width, 434 mm in height, and 425 mm in depth, and weighing 38 kg, the MAESTRO 4S / 450 is compact and robustly designed for industrial use.

If the scoring groove is traversed once, sensitive components located close to the scoring groove can be damaged by tensile and compressive stresses. Passing over the scribe groove twice with motorized adjustment of the blade distance minimizes the stresses considerably. The quality of the assembled PCBs is significantly improved.

Measuring device
For stress-free cutting and a long service life, the circular and linear blades must be guided precisely over the entire cutting length. The measuring device is mounted on the carriage to set and regularly check the parallelism.
