Forming tool 500-104A

The forming tool 500-104A from Weller Erem is a highly specialized forming plier, specifically designed for 90° bending on component arrays of the TO 126, 218, 220 series and for power transistors with three terminals. This plier ensures safe bending, shaping, and preparing of component terminals, particularly suitable for integrated components and power transistors.
The plier features a reflection-free surface and is ESD-safe, with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm according to MIL standard. It has a double, self-locking screw joint that minimizes wear and provides an extremely large range of motion. The patented opening system allows for an invisible integration of the springs, which increases durability and reduces the risk of injury.
The plier is equipped with a Stop! limit system that prevents the crossing of blades, thus eliminating damage. An optional wire holder is available, offering additional protection against eye injuries and the destruction of assemblies by uncontrolled detached cutting debris. With a length of 120 mm and the ability to be adjusted via a screw, this tool is an indispensable instrument for technical professionals in electronics manufacturing and maintenance.
