The laser-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 62 HRC and the round head with a small bevel as well as a wire clamp prevent the uncontrolled jumping away of wire sections. The mirror-polished surface, along with a fine oil film, offers effective rust protection without causing disturbances in the circuit due to flaking chrome parts.
The diagonal cutter is specifically designed for ESD-protected applications and measures 115 mm in length with a weight of 70 g. It is made from high-quality tool steel, with a jaw length of 14 mm and a head width of 11 mm. The maximum cutting capacity is 1.63 mm for soft, 1.15 mm for medium-hard, and 0.6 mm for hard materials.
