The KNIPEX 7712115 ESD diagonal cutter features a robust, load-optimized design with a riveted and play-free joint. The slim shape of the sleeves extended towards the head of the pliers allows for precise and comfortable gripping between the thumb and forefinger. Thanks to the high leverage, the effort required for cutting is low, and the load-optimized shape provides a more direct working feel. A low-friction double spring allows for smooth and even opening of the pliers.The laser-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 62 HRC and the round head with a small bevel as well as a wire clamp prevent the uncontrolled jumping away of wire sections. The mirror-polished surface, along with a fine oil film, offers effective rust protection without causing disturbances in the circuit due to flaking chrome parts.
The diagonal cutter is specifically designed for ESD-protected applications and measures 115 mm in length with a weight of 70 g. It is made from high-quality tool steel, with a jaw length of 14 mm and a head width of 11 mm. The maximum cutting capacity is 1.63 mm for soft, 1.15 mm for medium-hard, and 0.6 mm for hard materials.

The cutting pliers of the Knipex standard series are equipped with precision-ground cutting edges for finest cutting work, e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics. A low-friction double spring ensures a smooth and even opening. The mirror polish combined with a fine oil film offers a good rust protection so that errors in circuits by flaking chrome parts are prevented.
