The KNIPEX 7772115 ESD diagonal cutter is characterized by its robust, load-optimized construction, which includes a riveted and play-free joint. This tool offers fine and comfortable gripping between the thumb and forefinger thanks to its slim sleeves that extend up to the head of the pliers. The high leverage allows for minimal effort, while the load-optimized shape provides a more direct working feel. A low-friction double spring ensures smooth and even opening.The mirror-polished surface of the diagonal cutter, combined with a fine oil film, provides good rust protection and prevents circuit disruptions due to flaking chrome parts. The cutting edges are additionally laser-hardened and achieve a hardness of approximately 62 HRC. The sharp mini-head of the tool is equipped with a small bevel.
The technical features include an edge, a maximum cutting capacity of 0.81 mm for soft materials, a length of 115 mm, a width of 66 mm, and a height of 17 mm. The weight is 65 g. The material is made of high-quality tool steel. The head shape is pointed, which, together with a head width of 11 mm and a head thickness of 6 mm as well as a jaw length of 10.5 mm, makes the diagonal cutter particularly efficient.

The cutting pliers of the Knipex standard series are equipped with precision-ground cutting edges for finest cutting work, e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics.
