Diagonal cutting pliers 7871125 ESD
The KNIPEX 7871125 ESD side cutter is specifically designed for precise cutting tasks in electronics and fine mechanics. With a length of 125 mm and a weight of just 57 g, this tool allows for fatigue-free operation. The cutting edges are made of burnished special tool steel, ground without a bevel and inductively hardened to approximately 62 HRC, ensuring a long lifespan and ultra-precise cuts even of the thinnest wires.The handles of the side cutter are electrically conductive and provide ESD protection to prevent uncontrolled electrostatic discharges. This complies with the standards IEC TR 61 340-5, DIN EN 61 340-5, and SP Method 2472. The product features an opening spring and a movement limiter, which, along with the frictionless joint spring, ensures smooth operation.
The precisely shaped tips of the side cutter can cut wires from a diameter of 0.2 mm accurately, supported by the controlled micro-cutting edge offset. Additionally, the version with a wire clamp offers safety by preventing the uncontrolled snapping of wire sections.
The compact design with a head width of 13.5 mm and a head thickness of 7.5 mm makes the side cutter ideal for working in hard-to-reach places.

Extremely sharp cutting edgesThe Knipex Electronic Super Knips are made of surgical steel (INOX steel). The cutting edges are ground without a bevel for flush cutting. The burnished versions are made of tool steel.
