The KNIPEX 7922120 ESD side cutter is specifically designed for precise cutting tasks in electronics and precision mechanics. This tool features electrically conductive, dissipative handles as well as extremely sharp and accurately ground cutting edges. The blades are equipped with small facets for precise cuts on sensitive components and also allow flush cuts without a facet. The cutting hardness of about 64 HRC is achieved through additional inductive hardening.The side cutter is about 20% lighter than conventional electronics pliers and has a screwed joint that ensures low-friction movement across the entire opening range. A smooth double spring supports the gentle and even opening of the pliers. Ergonomically optimized multi-component sleeves and a mini-head improve handling.
Technical specifications include a length of 120 mm, a height of 19 mm, and a width of 61 mm. The weight is 57 g. The side cutter is made of polished and burnished steel, has a head width of 9 mm, and a head thickness of 6.5 mm. ESD safety is provided, allowing use in ESD-sensitive areas.
