The Weller Erem 792E side cutter is distinguished by its particularly narrow head shape, which allows for precise work even in hard-to-reach areas. The underside of this tool is recessed and the fine long tips of 13 mm length are ideal for cutting fine copper wires. This model is available in an ESD version, which ensures safe handling of electrostatically sensitive components.
The side cutter has a head width of 11 mm and a head thickness of 6 mm. The jaw length is 12 mm and the blade length is 10.16 mm. With an overall length of 115 mm and a head size classified as normal, the tool offers good handling. It is made of high-quality tool steel, which guarantees a long service life and robustness. The maximum diameter for soft wires is 0.64 mm and for medium-hard wires is 0.4 mm.
