Designed for utmost precision in electronics and fine mechanics, the KNIPEX 7962125 ESD side cutter offers an optimal solution for precise cutting tasks. This tool features electrically conductive, dissipative handles and precise, inductively hardened blades that achieve a hardness of approximately 64 HRC. The blades are very precisely ground for accurate cuts on sensitive components and have very small facets, but can also be used for flush cuts without a facet.Weighing just 58 grams, this side cutter is about 20% lighter than conventional electronic pliers. The ergonomically optimized multi-component sleeves and the smooth double-spring system allow for gentle and even opening. The screwed joint ensures low-friction movement throughout the entire opening range. An integrated wire clip prevents uncontrolled jumping of wire sections.
The dimensions of the side cutter include a length of 125 mm, a width of 49 mm, and a height of 19 mm. The head shape is pointed, with a head width and thickness of 11 mm and 6.5 mm, respectively. Made from polished and burnished steel, this tool is not only robust but also suitable for ESD-safe applications.
