The side cutter 884EPCM from the Weller Erem Series 800 Maxi represents a high-quality range of precision cutters, ideal for general cutting applications in electronics, especially for large wire diameters. Made from premium tool steel with cutting edges hardened to a hardness of 63-65 HRc, this tool ensures durability and reliability. The cutting edges are re-sharpenable and feature a non-reflective, ESD-safe surface.
This model has a blade length of 7 mm and an overall length of 115 mm, with a jaw length of 12 mm. The ESD safety is compliant with MIL standards, with the transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm. The patented opening system integrates the springs invisibly and thus offers safety without the risk of injury. Additionally, the 'Stop! Limit system' prevents the crossing of the blades, which helps avoid damage. An optional wire holder is available, minimizing the risk of eye injuries and assembly damage from uncontrolled severed cutting debris.

The Weller Erem Series 800 Maxi is a range of large precision cutters for general cutting applications in electronics for cutting large wire diameters. The cutters are manufactured from high quality tool steel with cutting edges hardened to 63-65 HRc. The precision cutters have a non-reflective surface, are ESD-safe and can be resharpened.
