Diagonal cutting pliers 886E

The Weller Erem Series 800 Maxi diagonal cutter 886E is a high-quality tool designed for precise cutting tasks in electronics. Made from robust tool steel, the cutting edges have a hardness of 63-65 HRc and are designed for cutting large wire diameters. The non-reflective surface and ESD safety make this tool ideal for use in sensitive electronic environments. The cutting edges are re-sharpenable, which increases the longevity of the diagonal cutter.
The pliers offer a minimized risk of injury thanks to their patented opening system that integrates the springs invisibly and are also replaceable. The double, self-locking screw joint provides an extended range of motion and minimizes wear. ESD-safe standard handles with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm according to MIL standard provide additional safety. The innovative 'Stop!' stop system prevents the crossing of the blades and protects them from damage.
The total length of the diagonal cutter is 120 mm with a blade length of 12.7 mm and a head width of 13.5 mm. The maximum cutting capacity for medium-hard materials is 1.02 mm and for soft materials, it is 1.77 mm. An optional wire holder is available that minimizes the risk of eye injuries and the destruction of assemblies by uncontrolled cutting debris.

The Weller Erem Series 800 Maxi is a range of large precision cutters for general cutting applications in electronics for cutting large wire diameters. The cutters are manufactured from high quality tool steel with cutting edges hardened to 63-65 HRc. The precision cutters have a non-reflective surface, are ESD-safe and can be resharpened.
