Diagonal cutting pliers RX8161

The Lindström RX8161 side cutter, developed as part of the ERGO™ process, combines precision and ergonomics in a high-performance tool. This precision side cutter features oval jaws and is equipped with 2-component Ergo handles that provide a thermoplastic surface on hard polypropylene to ensure optimal grip. The handles are ESD-safe and made from a synthetic dual-component material, making them particularly suitable for electronics work.
The cutting capacity of the tool is designed for copper wire, with the cutting edges induction-hardened for long life and brought to a hardness of 63-65 HrC. The friction-reducing screw joint increases the precision of the cutting edges. The side cutter offers various cutting types: Micro-Bevel®, Flush, and Ultra-Flush®, to meet diverse requirements.
The length of the tool is 147 mm with a weight of 97 g, and it is equipped with a safety spring that can be adjusted in three positions. The maximum cutting capacity is 2.0 mm for soft and medium-hard materials and 0.8 mm for hard materials. The burnished surface and robust steel construction guarantee lasting performance and reliability.
