The ESD diagonal cutter 5162 from Ideal-Tek is a high-precision cutting tool that is distinguished by its extra-large oval cutter geometry. This design ensures excellent durability and optimizes cutting performance through specially adapted head dimensions. Equipped with a full-flush cutting edge, the 5162L allows for very clean cuts on small material, making it particularly suitable for precise applications.The ergonomically designed ESD Ergo-Tek handle provides excellent and secure grip, ideal for environments susceptible to electrostatic discharges. The blades of this model are hardened to a hardness of 67 HRC, ensuring high durability and exceptional cutting performance.
Technical specifications include a head width of 16 mm, a head thickness of 6.4 mm, and a jaw length of 13 mm. With an overall length of 125 mm and a weight of 88 g, the diagonal cutter is handy and effective in use. The handle material consists of a combination of PP and TPE, while the surface is sandblasted to increase durability. The diagonal cutter can precisely cut cables up to a diameter of 2.5 mm (soft) and 2.0 mm (medium).
