Micro diagonal cutting pliers RX8234, short jaws, 10° bent
The Lindström RX8234 micro side cutter, developed according to the ERGO™ process, is a high-precision tool designed for fine assembly and rework. This model features ESD-safe ERGO™ 2-component handles with a thermoplastic surface on hard polypropylene, ensuring optimal grip. The short, 10° angled jaws allow for precise cuts even in hard-to-reach areas.
The side cutter is made from a high-performance steel alloy and is burnished, giving it a robust surface. The cutting edges are induction-hardened and achieve a hardness of 63-65 HrC, which, in combination with the numerically controlled machine grinding for cutting angle accuracy and contact, significantly increases the tool's load capacity and durability. A friction-reducing screw joint also improves the alignment of the cutting edges.
With a length of 141 mm and a weight of 62 g, the side cutter is handy and efficient. The opening spring, which can be adjusted to three positions or removed, limits the tension during use and increases comfort. The side cutter is ideal for working on hard and soft steel wires, as well as soft materials like copper wire and cable.
