Micro diagonal cutting pliers RX8237, long jaws, 50° bent
The Lindström RX8237 micro side cutter, with long jaws bent at 50°, is a highly specialized tool designed for delicate assembly and rework tasks. This precision micro side cutter, developed as part of the ERGO™ process, features ESD-safe ERGO™ handles made from a dual-component material. The thermoplastic surface ensures optimal grip, while the sturdy polypropylene enhances durability.
The high-performance steel alloy of the cutter is phosphated and features induction-hardened precision cutting edges with a hardness of 63–65 HRC. A numerically controlled machine grind ensures cutting angle accuracy and contact, which increases the tool's resilience and longevity. A friction-reducing screw joint ensures excellent cutting performance and precision of the cutting edges.
Additionally, the side cutter is equipped with a spring that limits tension during the work period and can be adjusted to three different positions or removed. With a small bevel, extra small head type, and a head width of 10.6 mm, this tool is universally applicable on hard and soft steel wires as well as soft materials like copper wire and cables. The total length is 144 mm with a weight of 65 g.
